I have to start watching this already!  I can't wait.  Joss is king huh!

OMG it is FAAAAABULOUS!!  I didn't watch it when it was originally on (I had a good reason at the time, really I did!) and we just got the DVD set of the complete series.  It's been really hard for me not to watch them during the day and waiting so we can watch them together in the evenings.

I already own seasons 1-7 of Buffy.  I figure it'll only be a matter of time before we start collecting the Angel sets. ::)

Okay, sorry.  Enough gushing about Joss.

JOSS ROCKS!!(sorry, it slipped out)

Amelie.

I'd all but forgotten what a little joyous gem of film it is. :)

It is such a sweet film.  We took the in-laws to see it and they were horrified.  That should give you an idea of how terribly conservative they are..... ::) :P

I love Bill Murray in that or in anything for that matter.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

DITTO!  I had seen it several times, hubs watched for first time last night.  We both love the Royal Tenenbalms, one of our favorites.  Have you seen Bottle Rocket?  Same director, Wes Anderson.  He co-wrote several of his movies with Owen Wilson.

Finally got to watch Crash (2004, not Cronenburg). Wow, what a powerful movie. Reminded me a lot of Magnolia and left me with the same feeling of depression and hope. Ugh. Think I need a light comedy next . . .
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

DH said it reminded him of a combination of Requiem For a Dream, Pulp Fiction and Magnolia.  No wonder it took me a month-and-a-half to get around to watching it. :P ;D

Some Like It Hot -- I love, love, love this classic comedy & it was great sharing it with DH who had not seen it before.  Tony Curtis & Jack Lemmon in drag, and the lovely Marilyn...does it get any better?  <sigh>
