it's pneumonia.  but they feel it can be treated at home.  she's been given something for hydration and a jab of antibiotic.  she also has more liquid antibiotic and it seems to be going down a little better.  she's also got some cough syrup that tastes pretty good  :)

hopefully this will knock it out but she's moaning in her cot.

we're still keeping roisin and her apart and hoping for the best w/regards to the baby.  :-\\\\

maybe on sunday we'll put them back together, or when her cough improves a bit.

Oh Honey! I hope they get better, soon. Your in-laws should be drawn and quartered.

OK, my annoyance... Staying home all day with the kids (a high maintenance two year old, who expects Mom to Step and fetch at the drop of a hat), working my ars* off in the house, and then expected to be cheery, and in the mood, after that.  ::)

Finding out the guy who asked me out actually has a girlfriend. (WTF!?!?!?) At least I found out before I actually went out with him.

Yesterday was just a bad day.

Dirtbag! Pity his girlfriend.

Being at a red light and when it turns green the lady in front of me is talking to the car beside her and obviously knows it has turned green. I just laid on the horn til she went.

And when you are at the supermarket and a lady leaves her cart in the middle of the aisle, walks half way back down the aisle, still leaving her cart in the middle, chatting away on her mobile phone, oblivious to anything going on around her. I stopped and waited for her to come back and move the cart. Well, she glanced down the aisle where I was waiting and then turned back to her conversation and browsing, unbelievable.  [smiley=bomb.gif] Well, that was my cue to push her cart out of the way of mine and loudly at that. Hopefully a lesson was learned, the idiot.

Cyclists
 - on roads, crossing the intersection before the light turns green (Let me cross the road already!)
- riding on the pavement
- on cycle paths that are adjacent to pedestrian paths, riding just on the edge of the border and sometimes crossing over into the pedestrian side, so if you're walking, you have to constantly look over your shoulder to make sure you're not going to be run over by a bicycle.

Do cyclists in the UK have to obey traffic laws, as they do in the US?

having to listen to you moan is a general annoyance
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Yes, it's actually part of the highway code.  It's illegal to ride your bike on the pavement and is one of my pet peeves(except of course for children).  Especially when they see you and keep coming full speed.

roisin is now coughing, sneezing and bunged up.  i am PRAYING she will not be as severely affected as aillidh, b/c that could be very, very bad.

 :(

needless to say, haven't heard a peep out of the ILs since i told them on wednesday that aillidh was ill.

can't be bothered to contact them, anyhow.  i'm just too upset w/them right now.

aillidh slept till noon today after being up from 3-8AM.

Poor Kids! And Poor You! You must not allow it all to wear you out and decrease your defenses. I don't think an infuser in the room would be bad. I know you have a lot of oils, eucalyptus, with lavender could help them both breathe better.

I am still sending positive vibes. But the the UK germs are tough nuts.

it might just be a cold, Courtney has the cough and sneezing. I make sure shes swaddled up tightly at night now because it gets drafty in the bedroom and she had a habit of kicking her blanket off her, thus ,giving her the cold. Its horrible at that age because they can't have any medicine. I hope you lil ones feel better soon

Sounds like someone is trying to start sh*t and just get a rise out of people.

Some of mine aren't invonvenient - just annoying:

  • Women that wear fish net stocking with a business suit.
  • Men/Women that wear brown shoes with a black suit
  • People that *still* use plastic shopping bags - get a bag for life or a box!
  • People too lazy to recycle
  • People who complain about people engaging in activities that are essentially good for the environment
  • Park and Ride busses that make you wait for 2 hours when they are supposed to be every 10 minutes!  Traffic my ars* - there were 6 other park and ride busses before you (from other car parks)
  • That's all for now!  :)
Never criticize a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes....that way you are a mile a way - and you have his shoes....
