I have a fear of being stpped beneath overpasses ever since that earthquake in CA. If I am in my car and the traffic is moving slowly, I try and wait so I can go under in one go. It annoys other drivers because I have left a gap and they toot toot or try and jump in

i do the same thing!!  glad to know i'm not alone!!  but ever since i've been in the UK, i haven't thought about it once.  it's been quite a relief for me!!

I remember after the Northridge quake it was MONTHS before I (and many other drivers) would stop under an overpass/bridge.  Not just because there might be another earthquake - it took me a long time to be sure some of the sketchier-looking ones weren't going to collapse from some hidden fault caused by the quake.

Reading about everyone's laundry reminded me of another one:  I, and only I, am allowed to make the bed.  Especially when the sheets need to be changed.  If my husband is "nice" and does it for me, I need to go in and redo it.  No one can do it right except me.

I have to get the last drop of something out of the container or I feel like I am being wasteful. Shampoo, lotion, toothpaste etc. I turn them upside down and squeeze out every bit! :-\\\\

Yep me too.  When the shampoo, dish soap etc is gone, ie can''t squeese no more, then i add a little hot water and there's another serving or sometimes two.

Same with thousand island, add a wee drop of coo...

Tight? No just odd
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Nine out of ten times I can guess who is on the phone before we answer it, my husband just looks at me funny when I yell out who it is and I'm usually right. We don't have Caller ID.

I absolutely cannot stand the words "belly," "tummy," "belly button," and "navel."  I'm just sure why, the words themselves just give me an icky feeling.  Whenever I refer to that part of my (or someone else's ) anatomy, I usually say "stomach."

DH is the exact same way!!  I think it is hilarious!

Me TOOOOO!!!  Thank goodness I am not the only one who thinks this!  Here they are in most hated to least:
tummy
belly
belly button
navel

At least navel is somewhat medical and not just some stupid made up word!!  I always say STOMACH.
