I had a dream about Taco Bell last night! LMAO

I dreamt they opened up in my city and I was all excited but then bummed out when I realized they had a limited menu (like those little ones in Target and stuff) and that there were no mexican pizzas. But, I was still happy.

Pretty bad when you're dreaming of Taco Bell!

I've never understood the craving for Taco Bell.

One night after being out of the US for 2 1/2 years I watched an A&E documentary on Mr. Bell behind Taco Bell. I admit I had to try it... and well I just wasn't awed. Reconstituted beans from powder with bean skins added for "authentic" texture.

To each their own.  ;)

I agree. But I'm saying that from the perspective of someone who's never been to Taco Bell. I've just never been tempted ... not while there's real Mexican food to be had!

although, oddly a soft taco with lettuce and meat isn't too bad in the fast food sort of way

I think Taco Bell is good if you're not comparing it to Mexican food because it's not really. If you're hungry and you've only got a couple of bucks, you can still eat until you're full at Taco Bell!

just a small tidbit of info... those packs only last so long before the contents start eating the wrapper. My friends and family thought it was amusing to send me packets of condiments when I lived in Africa, but I never got through them fast enough  :-\\\\

You can find bottles of their mild sauce in most US supermarkets. I had a friend mail me a few. You might want to try packing those instead.

Yeah, they sell two sauces, a taco sauce and then the restaurant-style sauce.  Just make sure you get the restaurant-style one and it tastes just like the sauce in the packets!
