He's gone....

I dropped my husband off at the airport at 3pm.   :\\\'(

He flew to Detroit and will actually be taking off for London in just 20 minutes.  I don't get to see him again until I move in September (assuming nothing freaky happened with the pets' bloodwork).  The house is so lonely already. 

Guess I'll just be spending a lot more time on here!

I'm sure you'll find it very surprising how quickly time goes especially when you get into all those nitty-gritty moving details!  Good luck to you while you endure the distance.  I truly hope it does go by quickly and smoothly.

I am moving in September too, we can countdown and be frazzled together.  Does that make you feel better??  Ha Ha, I am also taking my lil doggie.

I understand what your going thru all to much Carrie , My husband is Ven on here , and yesturday he left for the States as well to apply for the Spousal visa . We have spent the last 4 years together every min of every day . I am so lost as well , Im trying very hard to keep my chin up and keep busy but it is really hard . Ven will be away for 3 months , so I really do understand how your feeling  :\\\'(.

That's why this board is so fantastic!  We can be lonely and miserable together - so that in the end we really won't be all that lonely after all.

He is supposed to be a cocker/poodle mix - but I'm pretty sure that he is mostly cocker.  And interestingly enough, I think he's mostly English Cocker (he'll fit in better that way  ).  He has a lemon roan coat and that's really not seen in American Cockers.

I have a cocker too  except she is full english cocker
she is a blonde...which i swear to god looks red to me..but her ears are really beautiful blonde!

Hugs Carrie, I know how it feels.  I was away from my DH for three months right after we got married, two years ago.  It flew by though, I'm sure it will for you too.

I agree Carrie , its a great forum , It has helped Ven and I out a lot these past few weeks and Im sure it will keep helping us out until he can finally come back home.
