Frozen juice pops
« on: May 04, 2006, 09:41:33 PM »
After looking in a few stores, I need help.  Does anyone know where I can find those molds to make frozen juice pops?  What would they be called here?  Ice lolly moulds or something like that?

Great, thanks!  I'll ask at the local pound shop.

I picked up a few at the end of the summer season at Sainsbury's.  Probably not as cheap at the pound shop, but they were pretty cheap.

I just placed an order with Lakeland, so had a look for the ice lolly thingies as well....

I like those ones that have the sipper straw on them, in case of melting!

That's what mine are! They're not Lakeland (came with me from the US), but very similar. I love them!

I have the sipper ones, too, from Lakeland.  They're fab when the kids are ill, too, to get liquids into them.

AND, of course, for G&T ice lollies w/a slice of lemon frozen in them.

What other cocktail pops could I make? I'm not a gin person, but any other suggestions would be appreciated! :)

cosmopolitans make great cocktail-pops as do margaritas, and mai-tais.  I made a great drink a while back with

Orange juice
1-1/2 oz Rum
1/2 oz Galliano
with a sprite float
And ohhhh yum!  that would make a great cocktail-pop , tastes like an orange-vanilla ice-cream pop (in Canada, we called them cream-cicles)

I've got loads of recipes if you need ideas...
