That little boy Wayne was adorable.. The way he called his mom mother and wanted children at his party.  LOL  reminds me of Birthday parties on soap operas.. how no little children  are there if it's  a  kid's party.

He was really cute!  I felt so bad for him...he looked miserable  :(

they're replayaing season 1 right now... so they're probably going to start season 2 sometime soon.  anyone know the start date?

The last guess on Digital Spy was late summer or early autumn, but nothing definitive has been said yet so there's still hope for an earlier air date.

It's going to be a while because Season 2 doesn't even start in the states until June 10th.

This is interesting to me.  I didn't have HBO in the states, so I haven't seen it before, but I'm watching the season now and really getting into it.  I'm one of the ones who was quite sensitive about how they would portray it because I also grew up in the Salt Lake City area, and get so sick of the assumptions that we are polygamists or that we marry off at 13.  I'm glad to see that this show is letting the main characters be real people (even if some of the extended family are scary).  I'm also glad that they have clarified that they are different than the LDS (Mormon) Church--even if some of the LDS characters they've had so far are looking a bit fanatical/odd.

The funny thing for me is seeing all of the references to things that are uniquely Salt Lake or LDS.  It really is an odd experience watching TV in another country and hearing the teenagers talk about going to a dance at my rival high school or seeing them go for a drive up my favorite canyons.  It really is a bit of a mindtrip to watch this show sometimes and see references to the area I grew up in.

I also grew up in the Salt Lake area and haven't given this show a chance because the polygamist stereotype drives me up the wall.  That said, I watched part of an episode, and it seemed somewhat interesting.

This is one of me and DH's favorite shows! The 2ed season starts in the US on June 11th. Is it beginning about the same time in the UK? We don't want to get super involved in this season and then have to wait until the next episode. :)
Thanks!

I doubt it.  They tend to show things a few months later.  Sorry.  (I love it too and can't wait!)
