Yeah--my childhood memory is of Yoohoo with a Dietz and Watson brand boloney sandwich and then those long rectangular ices that you squeeze up and eat as they melt that came in all flavors!

Woo-hoo!  Congrats!  We'll be able to share jeans then!  :D

Hey, do you remember phosphates? My grandmother had one of those old seltzer bottles with the Co2 cartridges. She would make us a glass of cold seltzer and mix choc syrup in it. Lovely!

Thanks, about the jeans. I have significant muffin top in them but I haven't been able to squeeze into a size 12 since moving here.

I do vaguely remember that--my grandparents, I'm pretty sure had the Co2 seltzer things at their grocery store.  I remember places when I was a little older, that you could go to get a soda made up like that, but I think even when we were teenagers-ish it was a bit of a retro thing.

I think they may have been called 'egg cremes'. We used to have them at the little Woolworth's diner. God I'm so old!

Pshhhhhh! Your not old... I worked at a diner three summers ago and made 'egg cremes' on a daily basis for people... they were DIVINE!  The only thing better was a malted milkshake  ;D

I don't know what that song is, but you made me remember Yoo-Hoo!  Used to drink that stuff as a kid--my grandparents sold it in their corner grocery store!

It's a Kenny Chesney song, country singer. I love that song, too! I'm going to his summer concert tour this summer!  ;D

I remember Yoo-Hoo, but I used to love Choc-Cola.  A happy memory from my childhood is my Uncle bringing me a bottle of that when he came to visit.
Anyway...my happiness is finishing mowing the garden and not running out of petrol.
