I have tried 2 of the 4 I ordered so far. The Tarka Dhal Masala was beyond yummy! The Saag Gosht Masala didn't turn out quite as well as I had hoped, but I was not feeling 100% that day so it may have just been me. I'll give it one more try before I give up.  :)

Ouch! Better have some more Baileys to wash it down then!!

 ;D

OMG... i made the phall today.

I'm just incredibly impressed that you're attempting to cook anything today after consuming 3/4 of a bottle of Bailey's!! Well done you!  :P

OK. I'm making the Special Korma Masala curry pack right now. It seems very dry -- even after adding the water & tomatoes specified. I added chicken and potato as well. The instructions say to simmer until done. I'm trying to plan my day and have no clue how long this might take! Any thoughts?

If you've got meat in it, i'd cook it at least 15 minutes, on low-ish heat.
Potatoes might make it take longer...

Thanks, but I think I got it figured out! It did seem too dry, so I added some water right at the beginning -- but now I think it's a bit too liquidy, so I should have left well enough alone. Oh, well. It still smells fantastic! I have my dad and his wife arriving today for a week, so I thought I'd treat them to a curry dinner tonight. I also made a big pot of lentils. And I have poppadums with chutney to start with. And nan bread to go with the meal. So all I'll have to do tonight is the rice and make a quick raita. Oh, and I also made some heavenly mango ice cream yesterday which has been taunting me from the freezer ... "Eat me! Eat me!" I'm going to top it with crushed toasted pistachios.
