1. So a weird tax quirk meant that I got paid loads more than I thought I was going to from my old job, like LOADS more, about 5 times what I'd budgeted for.  ;D
2. I also got paid more than I thought from my new job. WTF?! This never happens to me.
3.  One of the start ups we worked for have had a major round of VC funding and their share price jumped exponentially. Which is good as the strike price we have for those shares is in the pence . We can't do anything about it obviously until they sell or IPO, but it's fantastic to see that us working risky jobs in the start up community rather than cushy jobs in big businesses is starting to pay off (or at least pay off on paper). Fingers crossed that playing the start up long game will result in something pretty positive for us in the future.
4. 1+2+3= much more expensive holiday than were previously considering. Looking at Thailand, or Borneo at the moment. Woo!

1.  Had a wonderful time meeting pb and her j on Sunday!  Mrs. R. gave us all a walking / pub tour of Leeds and wore me out!

I wore myself out!  :P :)

Glad you enjoyed it - it was the third time I've done 'the tour' & so I think it's getting a little bit better each time.  :)

Wow! Awesome CB.

1. I feel so much better finally. Good health is such a blessing!!

2. Two productive days spent organising and cleaning in preparation for baby's arrival. It's nice to feel well enough to scrub and set things up.

That's huge CB! Congrats.

1) Finally going to see The Artist tonight
2) One more room attacked and organized for garage sale/moving. (the process is annoying me so I have to give myself any props I can!)

1. The amazing Sanita clogs I wanted for work on clogoutlet.com are back in my size! Gonna order them now, no more aching feet after 8 hrs of standing!

2. Went thrifting last weekend and found an Anthropologie dress NWT for $4. Turning around and selling it on ebay and bids are up to $40 with 4 days left still. Gotta make that visa money!

In Paris!!

1. The rain held off and the weather this morning was PERFECT for running - cloudy, dry and cold
2. I freaking OWNED my half marathon pacing today - I was really hoping to maybe just break 1:50 but I ended up finishing in 1:47 (unofficial)!! My pace was rock solid from 2km on and I caught up then passed the 1:50 pace team about 11km in. :)
Summer 97 - first visited friends in London
99-00 - studied at Uni of Sussex on exchange
Feb 02 - moved to London on BUNAC
Sep 02 - WP granted (IT skills shortage list)
Sep 04 - WP renewed
Sep 06 - WP renewed again (screwed by 4-5 year ILR change)
Sep 07 - ILR!
March 09 - Citizenship!
July 09 - bone marrow transplant :(
18 Sep 10 - wedding!
Mar 12 - half marathon in Paris! 1:47:12!
Oct 12 - Amsterdam FULL marathon! 3:48:23!

Great job squirrellypoo! VERY admirable.

2) 150minutes of hot yoga later today. Aaaaaahhhhh.

1.) Very productive weekend digging in the allotment this weekend, even if I did get pelted with hailstones yesterday and I'm super sore and shattered this morning.

2.) Light in the morning, light leaving work. We're on our way!
