American Idol returns!

I still don't know any of the girls. These marathon all boys then all girls then results shows have just been too much for me and I never made it through the girls. As much as I like watching the programme, I'm an indie girl at heart and I can only stand so much bland pop. 

I like Blake. At least he's different. And has chosen a few songs that I actually like. I also like Chris. DH loved Sundance and so won't watch it now

Hahahahahaha!!! OMG, that's too funny. He is so beyond horrible it's not even funny. I think he's only getting the teeny bopper vote 'cause he's pretty.

That's why I've been recording the shows.  I watch the first minute or two of a song, and if it doesn't grab my interest (which it rarely does) I fast forward to the next.  I can usually get through the boys, girls and results show in about 45 minutes.

If only his own thing included singing well. Sorry, guys, but I have to disagree here. While I think Blake is kind of a cool guy, his voice is really weak and I think that's going to show more in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, I've got no delusions that he'll win.  I just like watching him perform because it's not a cookie-cutter performance.  Honestly, I'll be really surprised if any of the boys win... none of them have really blown me away at all.

I was thinking the same thing myself about any of the guys. this is just my opinon I think it will be between Lakisha, Melinda & possibly Jordan to win AI. but thats my opinon though.

I totally agree I was gutted when Brandon got the ax & not Sanjaya. I know Brandon forgot some of his words but his singing doesnt hurt my ears like Sanjaya singing does.
