Farts are very funny in every house!

Hh.  Not in mine. It makes me FURIOUS that he doesn't even TRY to control himself! We've been together 10 years and I still go to another room if I need to fart!
I know,  there's probably something wrong with me.   ;)

Just because it's funny in every household doesn't mean that everybody IN the household finds it funny! :D haha

Ksand - I am SUPER envious that you're going to see Endgame!! I have to wait until Tuesday because it's Meerkat movies day on Tuesday....Just saw Captain Marvel last Tuesday (I think it's a brilliant superhero movie for little girls especially!) in preparation...

Well, I’m hoping I will see it this weekend. The cinema here only shows 1 film a day, 2 on weekends, and it’s a small screen (maybe 100-150 seats)... so it might be really busy.

Apparently there was a queue for tickets 2 hours before last night’s showing (they don’t sell any tickets until 30 minutes before it starts)!

If I can’t see it on Sunday, the next showing isn’t until Wednesday.

My grown-a** male friends have already been posting on their facebook that they've cried when watching it....I feel I may end up bawling a lot more than I'll admit to publicly.

OMG, I actually CRIED, like proper cried at one of the recent TV episodes of Victoria.  I can’t recall a TV show or a movie EVER driving me to tears before.  But they killed off my favourite character in the most touching scene.

I don’t find it funny when my husband decides to fart and effectively gas me out. I know everybody does it but god his stink so bloody bad. It’s made me gag once

Friday Five!

The bad:
My transmission is completely hosed. Me and the transmission guy took it for a test drive and it sounded so terrible he insisted we turn back to limit the damage. And he immediately increased his estimate of the bill from £700 to "a lot".
I had to rent a car from Green Motion and stand in line for 40 minutes while each tourist in front of me was lied to and tricked into buying ridiculous amounts of deductible insurance.  Apparently this company rents cars for £50 a week and makes all it's money from selling dodgy insurance and charging extortionate amounts for each tiny scratch when the car is returned. I've bought separate deductible insurance so I hope I am safe.
The good :
I can finally see again after the optician from hell screwed up my prescription so bad I couldn't even see my computer at work.  After going back 5 times, they finally put me back on the prescription I walked in with. Could it have all been a greedy trick to convince me to use expensive daily lenses made by their own brand?  Possibly.

I got seriously ripped off by them on my first trip here in 2012, I had separate cover for any damage. Of course scratched the door because driving on wrong side of road took some adjustment. They forced me to pay £1000 upon returning the car and then wouldn't give any evidence of the repair or true costs to file with the insurance. Won't rent from them again!

Were you reimbursed by your insurance for the £1000?

When they gave me the piece of paper where all the previous damage was listed, it listed tons of scratches and dents.  I thought this will be no problem, the car obviously has so many scratches nobody cares any more.
When I tried to find those scratches on the actual car, they were TINY!  Literally microscopic scratches the width of a human hair.
I'm sure each of those represents someone who was charged thousands to fix it.
