I saw on instagram and twitter. I contacted the ROH today to ask about it and they said it was still on. I'm fuming.
The other stuff we had tickets for have cancelled already too .So really not much point for us going south now.

Definitely not handled well!

On another note, if they reschedule, I’d totally be up for meeting for a drink before or after.  No pressure though.

Awesome, we'd be up for that!

And as to #5, I know it's 9 weeks away, but I will be surprised if your convention occurs in Italy.

Yep, they just announced last night that the convention was being postponed to later this year.

Should hopefully just be a case of everything (convention tickets and hotel booking) being transferred to the new dates and then just rebooking my flights ... and easyJet are currently offering no fees for flight changes until further notice, but if the new flights are more expensive I will have to pay the difference.

Yes, she posted that she'd arrived.  :)

Yep. I got back yesterday.  Trying to recover from the jet lag.

Trip was smooth. Hardly anyone at the airports, no queues, plenty of extra room on the flights and everyone was nice to each other.

Have to get back to work and the grind in the morning.

Oh, good. I was a little concerned.  ;D

The Daughter is laughing at me for going into "mother hen" mode. I've been bugging her to make sure her American friends from the uni either got home ok or have everything they need. (Yes, I know they are grown adults, but....)  ::)

I also kind of forgot it was Friday.

1.  My husband is off work today, so it's going to be a day of him shifting things around to try to reorganize and make his existence on the other side of the plastic more comfortable.  And then Minecraft.  Minecraft is the best part of our days, lately.

2.  We're trying to keep as much of our B.C. (Before Coronavirus) routine going as we can... the espresso machine is in my part of the house, though, so I had to make the coffee.  I don't tamp as firmly as he does.  It was noticeable.  Still.  We had our espresso, and the band played on...

3.  After four nights of sleeping alone and being either too cold with the heater off, or burning up with it on, I finally figured out leaving the heater on with the window cracked partly open.  I had my first real night's sleep since my husband moved to the other side of the plastic sheet.  I'm feeling refreshed and much more optimistic today.

4.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing, my husband and I have had coffee "together", I'm going to use half of our remaining potatoes to make our traditional weekend breakfast of "potatoes, eggs, and toast" (I baked bread last night, too), and we're going to have a good day. <determined>

5.  My husband loves me very much.  It is mutual.

1.  Last day at work.  Word is getting out and people are truly SPEECHLESS and a few people can't speak to me as they start to cry.  A man included!  The female owner of the company pulled me aside and said the most lovely things and I truly think she was being genuine.  Very kind of her to do that.

2.  I was asked to write out what I do as a list.  Over 100 items.  They won't get done.  Not my problem.  But the Senior Leadership Team does not know how they *can* function without me.  They will.  It just won't be as efficient or "joined up."

3.  Today's my daughter's last day of school for the foreseeable future.  I'm actually really looking foward to being a mom.  The instructions from school are INTENSE.  I have to log on and register her as "present" each day and the work will be sent backwards and forwards each week with her teacher.  How the heck are people supposed to be a TEACHER and work?  Thankfully I don't have to be one of those people for the foreseeable future.

4.  I'm hoping the weather will turn and we can get some good outside time in the back garden.  I will take this request for distancing and isolation with 100% compliance.  I truly think it's the only way we can get this storm to pass quickly and not have it linger on.

5.  A colleague at work is hospitalised and they are 99.9% sure he has it, we will know later today.  40 years old and no health conditions.  He was at Cheltenham last week and it's believed he got it there.  All the more reason to avoid crowds.  He's very ill (I mean, he's got a bed and on oxygen and hooked up to a ton of machines) but I know he'll be fine.  He's had the strength to be sending selfies.  LOL.  But good wishes for him would be appreciated.

I love you guys!

1. My work (dental office) is near empty daily since guidance came down Wednesday that we can’t do treatments that require water or drills. That’s 90% of what we do. Because of reduction in appointments, I may not have a job after next week.

2. Had finally saved up enough money for a trip back to America in June. Now that probably won’t happen. Maybe another year before we see my mom and sister  :\\\'(

3. Attempted a weekly shop today. Shelves completely bare. No meat, no tin food and no cat food. I don’t know what we’ll do.

4. I got toilet roll!

5. Our new sofa arrived this week and I’ll be a blanket burrito on it all weekend trying to not have a panic attack over numbers 1-3.

I hope everyone is doing ok. I know this all sucks for everybody. Just hoping it gets better sooner rather than later.

no cat food. I don’t know what we’ll do.

Try https://www.zooplus.co.uk they are out of more things now than the last time I checked but the re-stock dates are within the next few days for the items I just looked at.
