Well Prince william's autograph if you want it before Phil burns it :(

naw it's been in the filing cabinet in the shed for nearly a year and it's one of those commemorative mounted pics and it's one of those preprinted Sig's but the picture is  NICE I've had to hide it there because Phil got miffed at me for bringing it back from the event..lol!

I also like that people don't seem to be as judgemental towards others appearances. Being slightly overweight isn't really an issue here. Having non-traditional hair colours isn't given a second glance. Accents seem to be more accepted. Etc.

That's true. I'm a big girl and NEVER in my life have I EVER been so comfortable in my own skin. It's an awesome country!

I am moving to the UK on Monday and before I red this thread i was SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!  My wife couldn't think of anything to tell me that was so great because she's always lived there and it just seemed like normal home to her.

You guys make it seem like such a wonderful place to be and now I'm excited about going.

THANK YOU!   ;)

Thanks!  that's the purpose of this thread to balance out all the fears and worries.

It's not an easy move for some, but it is a great place to live for others!  Good luck!

Yeah, the move is going to be tough on me.
I'll be leaving behind some great friends and my dog.   :\\\'(
She'll have a great home with my mom but I'm going to miss her more than just about anyone.

I just went out into the garden and picked fresh sage to use on my roast chicken tonight. Fresh herbs growing in FEBRUARY??!! That never would have happened in Rhode Island!! ;D ;D

I've got LOADS of rosemary and sage just now as well - but in my kitchen window sill!  Woohoo, that Miracle Gro compost worked.  ;D

It's amazing! My herbs are all still outside -- I figured they'd die off and I'd just replant in the spring. But they've all thrived! My parsley is still flourishing!
