i am going out on Friday, so maybe i will get some stuff then.
it's my glass equipment that i really need. (i make kaleidoscopes and stuff.) but... i talked to a friend last nite at a birthday party, and she works at a place where they make pottery. (more of a store/factory-type place than anything, but...) she said there are 2 guys there that do glass blowing, which is where i want to take my art next. she said that she'd try to remember to ask them if i could take a few lessons, etc. thru them, and that she'd let me know what they say.
the only thing is, though, that it's a business (not a classroom environment) so she thinks that the insurance issue might prevent me from doing this there. anyway, she said they are both pretty cool people, and maybe something could be worked out if they are interested... can't hurt to try, right? :-/
