If you're used to ordinary mayonnaise, Bob, you might find Miracle Whip a bit sweet. It always tastes really sugary to me. I'll stick with my real mayonnaise and fat be damned!  ;D

Precisely.  There's just no substitute for real mayonnaise, IMO.   :)

I agree with Chary and Geeta. Miracle Whip is funky, foul stuff. Blech!  [smiley=bleck.gif]

I was trying to be tactful ... but you're absolutely right.  ;)

Bummer. I do like mayonnaise. Used to eat mayo sandwiches (ie no meat cheese etc just bread and thick spread of mayonnaise.

Judging by the comments, think I'll stick to the real McCoy.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I have a super easy marinated mushroom recipe

In case anyone wants it.....

2-3 largish handfuls button mushrooms, trimmed and cleaned
6 Tablespoons minced parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
6 Tablespoons veggie oil
2 Tablespoons wine vinegar (red is better than white)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/8 tsp pepper

Boil whole mushrooms 5-10 minutes.  Mix ingredients together and stir in mushrooms.  Marinate at least 3 hours.
