I think they're a couple of great kids.

Absolutely! Remarkably "normal" considering the lives they've led.

But still ... no rhythm.  ;)

Is it me or does Prince William look more like Charles now? whereas at one time he seemed to be much more like Diana.  Unfortunately he also reminds me of the Harry Enfield character Tim Nice But Dim!

Watching the films last night from when she was a little girl, he really looked like her when he was tiny.

To me, he's a pretty even balance of the two ... unfortunately, I don't think he picked up the best features of either of them.  :-\\\\

I think he has Diana's eye's and nose. I'm not quite sure who Harry looks like.

Harry looks like the Spencers. He has their colouring and the wonky mouth.

I watched part of it on VH1, and I did see "Take That" perform.

I just have to ask...

WHY do people like them? They're truly horrid! And the dancers in their first number... they were like slutty syncronized swimmers with gigantic metallic hand fans. It was really bizarre and I just couldn't get into their songs from their set. Maybe they're not good live?

Oh that's right. Now that I think about it he does look like Di's brother. He was there last night by the way. He's lovely.

Take That are OK. I really like Mark Owen. He's so charming he's cute. I thought they were pretty good last night. I'm sure they were very nervous. I was halfway expecting Robbie to make his appearance but I don't think he can 'take that' his old band members are finally doing better than he is at the moment. I'm glad they had their moment in the sun!

D'you think so?? He's always struck me as sort of smarmy/creepy!

I feel the same way about Robbie. Robbie who?

My favourite is Gary Barlow, though. I think he has the strongest voice.

I think it's because that speech he made at Diana's funeral.

Gary Barlow looked like he just got home from his parttime job at the bank. I'm really surprised at what some of folks were wearing last night. I loved Fergie's outfit the best. She really looked Chic. Oh Jamie Oliver! He looked like he just came in from fixing his car with his old Kmart flannel shirt and jeans on.  ::) David Beckham of course looke chavtastic!

Well my husband and I got to go to Wembley yesterday. While I was unemployed back in December, I had ample time to keep hitting redial, and get a pair of tickets.

Overall the concert was great. Tickets were randomly allocated, but we actually got really good ones on the pitch, which even had a good view of the royal box right above us. Duran Duran were so disappointing, and for a little while we thought the whole thing might be a bust, but it got much better. Sadly the sound was a little off, and it was hard to hear some of the performers. The balance between the lead mic and the backup musicians didn't seem to be right at all. I found Puff Daddy hysterical, but I have to admit that he really got the crowd going. Some of the presenters seemed so random...Ryan Seacrest?, Dennis Hopper? Definitely slightly bizarre.

How about Ben Stiller's crap introduction of Ricky Gervais? I thought that was weird.. and awkward. Totally awkward in delivery!

Yeah.  It was awful.  He was trying to be funny and that kind of humor works best in a movie with a plot (Something About Mary), not in an introduction.  It was just strange.  I kept thinking, please, please, please, just shut up....
I am the architect of my destiny.

My daughter and I were both disappointed. Three things really bothered me:

1) Keyan West's exit with THAT N word. As the mother of a mixed race child that word is forbidden in our home...it should have been censored just like...

2) Ben Stiller bit...I can't agree more how inappropriate it all was...

3) What happened at the end with Elton John? I thought he was supposed to perform at least the old version of Candle in the Wind. It just wasn't a Diana concert for us without that.

Oh well...have to wait another 10 or 15 years for the next one. Has she really been gone 10 years? I can still remember my shock when I heard. My ex and I were in the middle of a move but nothing got done on the day of her funeral. I made him set the TV up first thing and my daughter and I sat glued to it all day and night.
