How long after your wedding did you go on your honeymoon??

We're still trying to work out the timing for our wedding next October, but the plan is to go on a short honeymoon in the US/Mexico immediately afterwards- I really don't want to postpone it since we have to fly to the States for the wedding anyway so we may as well make the most of it.

However, we're also taking a longer first anniversary trip in fall 2009 to the lovely Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago, mostly so that Rich can meet all my extended family and get fussed over   Looking forward to it, though!

Got married on the 7th of July this year.....attempting a honeymoon next year..

maybe i misworded it, we had a 10 day honeymoon - the first 5 days were a lot of relaxing and sleeping, the last 5, we got our scuba diving certification! Can't complain, I had a wonderful honeymoon, now if only I can get a wonderful sunny caribbean vacation again before we try for a family next year!

Our wedding was on Saturday, March 31st, in Athens, Georgia, and we left to spend a week in San Francisco the next evening.  However, we'd actually been married since January 23rd (registry office ceremony), and I got my FLR in Liverpool on February 14th.

We got married in Jamaica so our honeymoon & wedding were all rolled into one.

We married in a February and went on honeymoon the following October because we were broke and had student loan debts.... 

We were married on Saturday, went to Spain on Tuesday. 

I had my ILR already, so didn't need to wait to change status. 

We were married in Dec. 2006.. and went to the Carribean for a cruise in Feb 2007 (although, i wouldent consider it our honeymoon, because my parents and siblings were all with us and it was planned before we were even engaged)-- this summer we went to Turkey for Holiday... but I dont think that was our honeymoon either... just a nice holiday...

Come to think of it.. Im not sure if I've had one or not 

We went on our "honeymoon" on our 4th Anniversary.  We consider our trip this autumn to be our second honeymoon.

Got married on the 30th of March this year, then went to Scotland for 4 days the following week.  We planned it over Easter weekend so DH only had to request one day off.

4 1/2 years. We got married in Aug 2002 and took our first proper vaca just the 2 of us, this Feb. We went on a Caribbean cruise. I wanna go on another one 

Married on 4 August and ummm, well, still trying to figure out the honeymoon. 

for us, it will be 7 months after the wedding for our honeymoon...getting married in October 2008, and spending a week in Italy in May 2009!

Married first time 23 Jan 2004, had a two day away thing a few weeks later an hour away from us.  Then had big NY ceremony 30 May 2004, Christmas 2004 we went to Puerto Rico with my family and Rich wanted to call that a Honeymoon, I said no.  Then in Nov 2005 we went to Jamaica for 10 days (I was 16 weeks prego) and said fine this is the Honeymoon, though it sucked I didn't get to enjoy the all-inclusive drinking.

We took our honeymoon a year after we got married - a 300-mile hike, from Land's End to Durdle Door and north on Offa's Dike. It was awesome! We carried our tent and camping gear on our backs.
