Yes, congrats to Kristi & husband.

Sorry things did work out on the 4th, June. Hope Plan B for November is a success. Are you getting married in the PNW? Beautiful country there...I lived in the Seattle area for five years. Still miss it sometimes, especially Friday Harbor/whale watches/Orcas/mountains/Oregon beaches.

Apparently, David's Bridal gives your phone number and email address out to dozens of wedding related businesses.

Is that even legal?

No, our plan is to get married at town hall in Sheffield.  A very simple wedding, just the two of us and 10 guests.  But you're right about the PNW, it is very beautiful.  Except for this too hot corner I'm in right now.   :)

Sounds perfect. We plan to have much the same only in Pompey, Hants.

The day after I got my gowns at David's Bridal, I received a phone call from the Men's Wearhouse trying to set up tuxedo rentals with me.  And I've been getting a whole bunch of emails for different offers. Blech.  Annoying.

I'm getting married in the UK September 27th at the Larkbeare House in Devon.  My reception is at the Clavelshay Barn in N. Petherton, this beautiful, secluded, renovated farmhouse restaurant.  Then we've got a second wedding in the US November 8th on the California Central Coast.

Yay Helen!  I'm so happy for you!  I know the last few months have been difficult but it'll all be worth it later.  Hang in there!!  :D
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Thanks!  I am super excited for them both since they're going to be so different.  Different sizes, settings, dresses, flowers, not to mention countries.  :)
