I'll let you know.  Rufus has been EXTREMELY well behaved of late.  He's behaving pretty much as we have wanted him to all along. We've now had him for a year and he seems to have settled in really well since we moved.  And he's not being exercised as much so I think it's a combination of a few things:  age, stability, neutering.

It was tough going there for a while and i would have happily given him back.

It's when things get chaotic that he goes bonkers.

Ricki, I think it's awesome that you have put all this time, emotion, and effort into helping your dog.  It's even stressful on dogs feeling all of that aggression and so many owners give up too easily.  He's lucky to have a family that so obviously loves him.  I hope it works out for everyone.

Thanks. I just can't bear to get rid of him. I mean I will at the very last resort but we would all be heartbroken and he would be too. We'll try this and see how it goes.

Thanks everyone else too!

Great news Pebbles, you have amazing dedication to Samson and I truly hope this does the trick!  It's so refreshing to hear of people that really are taking every possible course of action for their fur-kids.   :)
