Saturday's post contained both an unexpected pleasure and an inconvenient annoyance.

A baby gift that we had mailed to a friend turned up after a month. We had assumed it was lost/stolen, and had bought a replacement and delivered it to our friends just the day before.

Our friends say they never got a slip through the door saying to collect it. Luckily we bought the replacement in the US when we were visiting, so it cost half the price of the original. Unfortunately, we couldn't return the original it as it was past the 30 day mark. Oh well---now she'll have two gifts.

The purse i bought on eBay last week arrived today, and it is the BEST PURSE EVER!  Okay, im not thrilled about the baby blue colour, but it is the perfect purse with the perfect amount of pockets, slots and zips!

I had my acknowledgement letter from Home Office to say they've received my citizenship application and documentation and that the fee has been paid (which I knew).  ;D

It's only been 10 days since I sent it!!

I'm jealous!  I've become a junkie, buying one after another hoping to find the perfect one.

This is the 3rd purse i've bought this year... but i think this one's a keeper.  As i said, i dont like the colour, but it's the size and feel and user-friendliness that matters!  AND it was only 99p plus postage...

In his advert he says it has 2 zip pockets, but in actuality, it has 3!
He ships worldwide, but doesn't appear to have any more purses like this at the mo... however, if you check his shop, he might get more later.  :)

I got the coolest Nancy Drew pocketbook today in the mail. It's fabulous, I love it. My daughter will get the books.

Awww! My grandpa was a candymaker too--he used to send me homemade pralines when I was in uni.
