You can Google free templates for Wordpress and Blogger. There are creative techno folk out there who love to make them and you can usually get the code for free along with instructions for how to apply them.

Yes, when I get more time (ha!) I'm going to recreate mine with a new template. But I'll stay with Wordpress.

Is anyone on UKY using the name 'mommypeep' on Blogger? I've had a comment from this person, but I don't know who it is and the profile is blocked!

When you say 'make the photos bigger' - do you mean you want them to be larger in your original post?
Because - and I may very well be telling you something you already know :), but just in case: when you post, you have the option of small, medium, or large, AND
- once published, if someone clicks on the photo, it will open to its original size.

As far as sites, a few friends of mine are on Square Space, though not free, but does offer a free trial period, and I think you can make it your own url.

Lastly, for photo storage - I use photobucket and am very happy with it, but with Blogger, I upload directly from my computer (which I think helps show the original picture size when it's clicked on).

Yes, that's what I mean. But I already post them as 'Large' ... it's just not large enough for me.  :-\\\\

But I don't think most people do click on them. I know I never do when looking at other people's pages. Am I just lazy??  :P

*cough* Well, erm, that would be a judgment call ;)

But when I see what looks like a really nice photo - which is pretty much most of the time - I ALWAYS click on it to see the detail!

I always click on the pictures!!

I just upgraded from my p&s to a Nikon D40 today so hopefully I'll be posting pretty regularly now that I have some incentive to learn to be a better photographer :D
I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I click on them sometimes, but not all the time.  But I definitely do it from time to time!

That's what I thought when I got my Canon Rebel! ;)
I hope you do better than I have - what I've found is I really need to carry my point and shoot with me at all times, instead of thinking I have to only use the big camera.

Ha! :D Well I've decided to not do a 365 blog because I really beat myself up when I forgot a day, and that isn't what this is meant to be about! So instead I'm going to do a photoblog of the city, maybe with a few bar/restaurant reviews if I can be arsed.
