Hi
http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/IDIs/idischapter5annexes/section1/annexf.pd?view=Binary
this annexure is not outdated it is still valid .

You're kidding!  It's from December 2006!  Massively out of date!

fairy?  prince?  You tell ME  ;D

 :D
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

victoria how come.

first they refused my visa stating 180 days for workpermit . they refused me from outdated version of guidelines.

second when i emailed HO they  replied me giving the description of annexure f .

then if there is no annexure f what is the new ruleor guidelines.

It says in the refusal...you can't be absent from the UK for more than 6 months in five years.  That has been the guidance for over a year.

It was out of date in 2005.

If this document is what you grounded your review on, you could have saved yourself the postage.  And it's IDIs anyway.

Yes.  They are only useful up to the initial decision.  After the initial decision, they amount to doodly squat.

Immigration Directorate's Instructions.  Not binding.  The *can* be persuasive, but in your case I think you may be fighting a losing battle, which is why I have suggested extending your work permit.

Not since they made this clear statement regarding 6 months in 5 years...I don't take them anymore, as I don't believe they can be won.
