Well it was about 1998, so about 32 or 33.

How old were you when you first cooked something by yourself for your parent(s)?

hmm for my parents...Would have to be 7th grade - I was drafted into the Special Home Ec class where all we did was cook for teacher luncheons ect...There is no doubt I cooked a chicken dish my for dad.

How old where you when you got your license?

3 days after I turned 17.  (NJ is one of the only (or the only) state that didn't give out driver's licenses until 17, too many people in a small area, we don't need 16 year olds driving too).  I was SO angry I had to wait those three days, since my birthday was on a Saturday and Monday was a holiday (apparently I was angry enough to still remember the exact circumstances 9 years later....).

I think I was 8 years old.  At my primary school, once you were in the top 2 classes, you could have coffee instead of milk with your lunch if you wanted it.

well, they called it coffee, what it actually was was hot sweet milk with a tiny bit of instant coffee in it.  I mainly drank it because it was a sign of my advanced years and elevated status.

How old were you when you decided you were too old to trick-or-treat?

14 years old was the last time I did it, I think - so 15?

How old were you when you went to your first fancy dress party? 

I assume you mean Halloween is not included, but strictly UK or UK-style fancy dress / costume party, then just this past year so 46.  And it was cr@p and I had a cr@p time, so hoping this weekend's 80s fancy dress fares a bit better for me with no Nazis on the agenda.

it was probably around the time I figured out that me knowing something wasn't the same as them knowing something, so 2 or 3.  It was probably also before I figured out lies should be plausible and consistent.

17 I flew to OK to see my boyfriend for 2 weeks and then to CA to friends for 2 weeks before going back to Jersey...

How old were you when you decided to stop wearing "kids" underpants/underwear?

not sure what you mean by "kids" underwear, But I started wearing thongs when I was about 17

  I'm thinking like white cotton undies with little flowers on them and white undershirts.  I can't remember how old I was when I stopped, but maybe 14?  I was a late bloomer!

The first inkling of that was about 19 years old.  I moved out when I was 23, so the next inkling came at that point.

I think I wore day of the week underwear and an undershirt if I recall, so never.  But I wish I could wear them now!!!! Esp. Spiderman ones with feet, matching with my 7 year old niece. 

The first time you made a homemade gift for someone?

My mother was very crafty (and we were very poor) so very very young.  I'm still not sure I've made something as a gift that wasn't all wonky though

How old were you when you learned how to say "no" and mean it (against things like peer presure - not things like having to clean your room)?

Very young, I'm sure.  I honestly can't remember ever feeling peer pressure.  I always did my own thing and was comfortable with that.  I'll say about 8 or 9.

Honey, I *still* experience school girl crushes!    Honestly though--quite late in life, maybe with my ex so 33 ish.  I don't think I loved him enough though.
