I'm with you on this one, Tin!  :)

(But you learn something new every day...until now, I would have thought it a totally made-up word!  :P)

True.  And why am I so vehement about this anyway?  Perhaps I'm a closet Pelmanist...  ;)

"Fair enough."

This drives me MAD! My boyfriend says it all the time and I always think he's angry with me....this phrase causes many pointless arguments via instant messenger  >:(

I'm a bit annoyed with 'impact change'.  Mostly as it's coming up in an ad at Salon.com, so I see it every morning.

There is a thread on this message board in the Food section called "What's for tea at your house?" referring to the meal.

Say - I am wondering what is for tea tonight....?  ;)

''What's occurrin''

Cant decide if its cute or annoying. And I have never heard it used apart from referring to ''Gavin and Stacey''.
Good things come to those who wait...a really long time.

It's a TV catch phrase. I've never heard anyone say it in real life either, but it's a Nessa-ism which makes it OK with me. I love her!

Occasionally Tim will say "me mum and dad" instead of "my". It's not consistent, either.  He does use the word "my"...but whenever he says me I just want to reach through Skype and smack him on the side of his head.

But then I realize it's got to be some kind of regional thing, because I know other British folk who us the word "me" for "my".
