The most annoying expressions...

Pantsuit! I know it's irrational but I just hate that word.  And it seems like I've read it 9000 times in the last few days.

'Pantsuit' as in a ladies formal or business suit but with trousers/pants and not a skirt.

Gotcha, thanks.  Logical when you think about it, but I don't ever remember hearing the term before.  You learn something new every day.

I just finished a book, and while I liked the plot, I was about to scream at the number of times the author used the phrase 'How come...?' in the dialogue. AHHHH!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  Just the word makes me cringe but the actual picture is truly horrible.  I really can't stand the word or the garmit.  OMG. It's horrible.

Snazzy! I had a yellow and white polyester pantsuit in a large houndstooth pattern. Yup. My mother made it for me at my request!

Tea is a meal as well as a drink!  Though I'd guess that is a northen phrase rather than a British phrase.

Not just northern - I've been using that phrase (eating tea) my whole life and I'm from the south west. In fact, I'm eating my tea right now (chicken, mashed potatoes, peas and sweetcorn) .
