So, some good news for me...someone wants to do a pre-purchase vet exam on my horse.
I still need to drive out to their barn (probably next weekend, as they're an hour+ away) to make sure it looks nice, but provided that and the vet check go well...he may very well be sold!
The girl seems very nice, and I was pretty impressed with her. She didn't insist on riding him for hours, and helped with post-riding cleanup, which was nice.
So...fingers crossed! I'll be sad to see him go, but there will be perks to not owning a horse (more time, more money, ability to move, etc), and as long as he's in a good home, that's the main thing.
