I am sorry to hear about your stepfather...you are in my thoughts and prayers...

So, some good news for me...someone wants to do a pre-purchase vet exam on my horse. I still need to drive out to their barn (probably next weekend, as they're an hour+ away) to make sure it looks nice, but provided that and the vet check go well...he may very well be sold!

The girl seems very nice, and I was pretty impressed with her. She didn't insist on riding him for hours, and helped with post-riding cleanup, which was nice.

So...fingers crossed! I'll be sad to see him go, but there will be perks to not owning a horse (more time, more money, ability to move, etc), and as long as he's in a good home, that's the main thing.

And Josy should be in the UK by now (unless she took the slow boat!) So excited it has finally happened for her!!

We met up with Tim on Friday and have been taking my mom on a bit of a tour back to Lincoln. Last night was the first night back at Tim's house, and he told me that it feels right that I'm here, and I belong here and he wants me here with him forever

Things have been crazy at work and am a bit nervous that they are anxious to get me out of here...I told them I will be gone by end of January.  My boss is being a real jerk...it's amazing how people's true colors show in situations like these.  I used to like the guy.

i am having a difficult time right now. i have been back home in the US for a month after spending the summer with my boyfriend in the UK. i am looking for work which is stressful enough in itself, but i feel like the relationship is also affecting this. i desperately want to start a career, not just have a job, but how can i do that if i am eventually going to be in the UK with him? we don't have a specific timeline planned of when we want to be together for good, but when i talk to him about this he always says not to worry because i will eventually be there with him anyway. i guess i feel conflicted because i don't see the point of looking for then landing a job i really want and then have to turn around and leave it soon after. does that make sense, and has anyone else dealt with a similar conflict?

I can see your conflict but you should continue to live your life. Even if you found a wonderful job and then found out that you had to soon leave for the UK, the experience, even little, will help you towards finding your dream job in the UK.

Hi Ladies been a long time since I've been on here!  We are doing very well my driving test is in a month!  Still can't find a job it's sh*t over here for that!  Well up here anyway!  But we have something really wonderful that we found out!! We're pregnant YAY a little Romantic movie baby:)  aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh it's perfect! Just thought I'd share our news hope you all are well!!
