My updates:  I have a job, I have put driving on hold (not sure when/if I will try again), my dog is coming over next week (!!!!!) and I think I need to get a new tenant for my house in the US (ugh!)

Speaking of romantic movies again: I was at Homebase of all places over the weekend and noticed a little DVD stand with none other than Love Actually displayed, so I picked it up for £2!  Woo!

I figured out where Aldershot was and darn I thought it wouldnt be that far but its over 5 hours from where I will be for the New year! <snapping fingers>  I still want to get t London eventually.

Thanks! It is bittersweet, but I'm hoping I'll see him and his new owner at a show this month or next before I go, which'll be fun. And yes, I'm definitely up for a meetup while I'm there, that would be awesome. So far my only "plans" are to hopefully snag some job interviews while I'm there, and spend some time with my great-aunt. If I'm extra ambitious, I may investigate potential apartments/neighborhoods as well.

Yay for the job! And yay for Mirra arriving soon! Boo for tenants, though, I still need to tackle that with my house..I've been procrastinating. Good luck getting that settled, landlording is a pain.

How's this for an efficient bride?

We got engaged on 24 September
told the parents on 27 September
I returned to the US on 29 September
Tim and I picked our date (5 November) on 3 October
Found out on 5 October the place I wanted to hold the reception was booked
Found out on 6 October my minister couldn't marry us because PA doesn't recognize internet ordained ministers.
TODAY (7 October) I booked a new reception site, booked the appointment with the judge, AND booked the honeymoon suite. All before Lunchtime in the US.

So, more good news for me. Now that my horse is sold, I've started sending out my CV (not very much yet, due to lack of time, but at least it's a beginning).

Yesterday, I was thrilled to receive an e-mail from one of the listings inviting me for an interview! I'm assuming they'll want to do a phone interview, thanks to the distance, but it's nice to think that I could possibly have an in-person interview when I'm there in November.

Fingers crossed, though I'll still keep sending my CV out as well.

Yep it all happened on his birthday - whoopsie can become a miracle
