It helps that Tim is a rail enthusiast....AND that he knew St. Pancras was used as "King's Cross" for exterior shots in the Harry Potter movies, and I'm a big HP nut!

Not working hard today.... no one will email me back, everyone I call has their voicemail saying they will be out of the office all week - makes it very hard for me to work!!

Jamie - omg I hadnt looked at my countdown today - I love being below 30 days! woo.

All this talk of wedding dresses... I am DESPERATELY trying to hold back from going to the David's Bridal website right now!   hmm maybe just a peek would be ok... NO NO must not look!

Oh, and over the weekend, David said he wants to build/install/whatever a closet for me in "our" bedroom.... then he sent me pictures of the paint job he did in the room and is so proud of himself :)  Now, he just called telling me that he purchased two new lamps and needs me to help him pick which one to put in the room.  How freaking adorable is he??

I miss him.  A lot.

Ew.

Uhm, I thought I set fire to the grill today.  While Tim was up at the village shop.  I unplugged it and was panicking....turns out that the flame I saw is "normal when using it in grill mode".

 ??? ??? ???

On the other hand, as result, today has been super affectionate day!  Pity Tim has to work 10p-6a!

Yes Jamie I did end up buying the dress...it is champagne and ivory it is strapless with just the tiniest beading on the front...I am going to attempt to add a pic of it here for you...it has an lace jacket to wear over it for church and a cathedral type veil..it is the prettiest thing I have ever seen....you will just know when you come upon "the one"...
It isn't letting me put in the image...so if anyone wants to see it PM me and I will send you a pic...I have even picked out my bridemaids dresses too

Anna now you aren't supposed to burn his house down while he isn't home lol

We had a dip contest at work today and someone made buffalo chicken dip in a crockpot and it smelled great at 12 when they put it on but it must be empty now and burning...my nose is on fire lol....

See Carey...David keeps saying "our" and he is adjusting his closet for you...it is true love...when a man gives up his closet

Josy - I am super jealous! I have an obsession with dip!   I love anything that I can dip a cracker or a chip in!   (er.. a crisp)
In fact, I just went to the store to buy something for lunch and came back with a box of crackers and two things of Philly cream cheese dip - one is roasted red pepper and one is cheddar jack/jalapeno.  Tip for the day:  If you need to take an appetizer to any holiday functions soon, buy this stuff and scoop it out of the tub and pretend that you made it.  Its wonderful!  Yum yum.

Oh and we dont have a word of the day!  ALAN???  Help!

Holy cow!! Philly cream cheese dip sounds soooooooooo good right now! I try not to buy stuff that I might eat all at once like that! Before I go to my second job, though, I am going home quickly to start the veggie soup I've got planned for night. I'm gonna let it slow cook while I'm at the running shop! :) Then I'm making corn bread muffins (from a box) with corn and jalapenos added! It's perfect because it's all rainy and cold outside. :)

Josy, I want to see the dress!!

Anna- that's a funny story. Indoor grilling would freak me out if there was fire involved!!

here is a good holiday dip or any party dip...take a package of philly cream cheese and let it soften by sitting out and then put it on a plate and top it with either salsa or chipolte sauce....guaranteed you will eat the whole thing at once lol....

let me see if I have the pic at work and then I will send it to you Beth...maybe I can pm you with it...or I can figure out how to post the pic of the dress on here....

dodgy is a good word...I use that alot

The buffalo chicken dip smelled dodgy after being left in the crock pot for too long lol

I'm' so excited you picked out a dress! :D  I want to see it! Tim jokes that I have the entire wedding already planned. I don't....I just have a lot of ideas of what I want!  What colour will your bridesmaids be wearing?

It really wasn't a fire at all - the grill spit fat from the sausages Tim asked me to cook for him and it made a small flame on the coil at the top....apparently that's normal and I shouldn't have worried about it. My reaction was unplugging the thing and staring at it, getting hysterical the whole time because Tim hadn't taken his mobile when he went down the street and I kept running from the end of his driveway to look for him into the kitchen to make sure things weren't on fire.
