I completely concede victory to Yael.*  Unless you are the sort who can pull off hipster irony, that umbrella belongs in a Rhianna parody video.  Shudder!

*Though I might have a case in that my umbrella is truly ugly, yours is ridiculously hysterical!

I want to play!  This is the "extra gift" from MIL.  Why she HAD to get it for me I'm not sure!?  Some friends have told me five year old girls might like it!! ;D

I think Yael's umbrella would work for a 5-14 year old girl.  After that, people would stare (And laugh ;))

I actually saw that in the shop and debated for five seconds whether the 11 would like it but decided it was about five years too late.

It's cute though for people who like that sort of thing.

Oh wait -- I think I might have another candidate although I'm not sure it counts because the gift in and of itself wasn't bad...

Sometime in December I had been watching Titanic with my (now-ex) boyfriend.  He kept commenting on how beautiful and perfect Kate Winslet is.  How she was his perfect woman etc. (yeah, I know).  I'm pretty sure you can guess what I received Christmas morning. ::)

I would say about 12 and under.  There's no way I'd give that to my 14 year old cousin.  She'd kill me! :)

Re-thinking it, you are right!  No way I would want that umbrella after I was 10 ;D :P  (But then I was not really a pink kitty kind of kid :D)

I miss England,

My best friend is desperately allergic to Bath and Body Works/perfume anything as well.  She discovered that they do have a pretty good return policy, believe it or not, and actually have a few products that aren't drenched in perfumes.  She ended up getting a handful of totally natural and gentle lotions and soaps that she loved, so it may be worth checking out still for you.

the only trick is getting into the store without swooning or your head splitting open--maybe send someone for you. :)

My Brother in law's mum has given me a hairy orange - ORANGE scarf which feels all scratchy and a little box with a mug and a plastic teddy bear on it, the mug has some sort of poem about friendship on it and some sort of floral decoration. the teddy bear has been eyeing me evilly since I opened it, it's really something you;d give a 2 year old  ???

Ah well, Charity shop ahoy! :)

Both the horse bag and the pink kitty umbrella are genuinely bad.
You both have my sympathy!  ;)
