I figured out why I didn't know who Osmond Boy was. It seems I've missed half the shows thus far. Half the clips of previous stuff were from shows I never saw. How the hell did that happen??! How am I missing it all?? We don't get anything else until next Friday now, right? I just want to make sure this travesty doesn't recur.

I really liked the boy who sang 'Hey There, Delilah' and didn't get through. At least, he sang that on one of the Hollywood Week shows I DIDN'T SEE.    Anyway, he was really good and I would have liked him to go through.

I also like brunette guitar girl. I hope she isn't the one who got disqualified!! Is she?

As for the wild cards.... here's how they're doing it this year:

They are dividing the finalists into three groups of twelve.  They will perform X times (I can't remember exactly), then will be thrown to the wolves American public.  The top three from each group will be moved to the final twelve, the remaining nine are out.  Then, the judges will pull an additional three from the ones who lost the popular vote.  After that, it's business as usual.

I think it could make for a much more interesting competition.  Plus, it'll cut out the ones who shouldn't be there AT ALL (I'm looking at you, Tatiana Crazybritches) right away.  Anything to avoid another Sanjaya debacle is a good thing.

There isn't anyone I love or hate in this group, save for Ms. Crazybritches.  Guess I'll have to wait a few weeks before I can pick my horse.

Add me to the list of people really pissed that Jamar got cut and so many less talented people got through. Did you see the reaction in the holding room? Everybody knew that was wrong. No one else that got cut got that reaction. I was actually mad about it. Not sure if that makes me a little pathetic

I didn't see that. Did I miss something?? Or do we get that one a different night? I'm so baffled. We just got them seeing all the kids individually and making some of them "sing for their lives"  before whittling it down to the final 36. There were no rooms. Just the judges sitting on giant red thrones.
