I totally agree!  They put her and the Nick/Norman guy through because they think they will make good tv. 

NIck/Norman has me flummoxed. He actually has a good voice. But I don't think I can take the schtick if he tries to take that with him.

Tatiana is awful. But I think I actually loathe Nathaniel even more.

Or as I called him, the boy in the cardigan.

I call him Unfortunate Piercings Boy.  Seriously, they look like pimples!

Thank you both!    I hope he gets one of these alleged wildcard spots. He really does have a lovely voice.

Sorry if my explanation was confusing.  The wild cards will be picked from the people who aren't voted for in the next few weeks.  If the judges told someone "No" while they sat in the Chair of Doom, they're done for the season.

To an extent I think it's an act. An annoying, nearly impossible to stand act. When she was walking out of the judges room she was only sort of screaming. Then she sort of looks over to the side and sees the crew (assumably) and she suddenly starts that horrid, false, hysterical thing. I can't stand her.

Unfortunate Piercing Boy (UPB?) I just feel sorry for - he's got an OK voice and I think he's just a poor, screwed up boy with an unfortunate background. I kind of hope he sticks around for a bit.

I'm outraged that Norman went through but the black guy who sang Hey There Delilah in Hollywood week didn't. He was one of my favourites and I seriously don't get why they didn't put him through.

I actually liked Norman for some odd reason. He has a good voice and obviously doesn't take himself too seriously, which I like.
The Hey There Delilah guy was Jamar and he definitely should've gone through, IMO. He had a really great look, despite his own unfortunate piercings, and nice voice.
Do they bring people back as wild cards? If so I think it will be him and that cute black girl with the hat that sang an original song on her 1st audition.

I know that one of the final 36 has been declared ineligible (not saying whom though) and they have brought someone back, but it WASN'T Jamar, he was very good, I am gutted he didn't get through.

Add me to the list of people really pissed that Jamar got cut and so many less talented people got through. Did you see the reaction in the holding room? Everybody knew that was wrong. No one else that got cut got that reaction. I was actually mad about it. Not sure if that makes me a little pathetic

I'm so with you here.  I can't NOT watch American Idol but it really makes me mad sometimes.  I feel like they got us to fall in love with him and then sent him packing.  I loved him! 

And WTF is up with Tatiana and that horrible drama queen guy with all the face piercing (not that I have a problem with piercing but I don't know his name)?!  Their voices are fine but are those judges trying to say THEY have a better shot at winning AI than Jamar?  Sha!!!!

ETA: Sorry I just read the most recent posts and it's Nathaniel.  I actually have to fast forward when he speaks because I find him so irritating.

It's such a necessity especially when there is a commercial every 5 minutes.  We don't watch anything in 'real time' anymore!

I couldn't tell you the last time Dh & I watched anything in "real time".   

Dh & I cant stand Nathaniel or Tatiana      we both really liked Jamar.   

Everyone else agrees that Anoop is going to be a wildcard, right?  I can't believe they'd just let him go.

I have to say that I have never been less surprised at the outcome of a results show.
