Today it was sunny, so I walked DB to the station instead of giving him a lift in the car

It's kind of weird.

THAT is precisely why it's fun!!!

S, I already responded to you elsewhere about this, but that place is like 5 minutes from us. Honestly you're in my backyard. And I'm most irritated that I didn't know sooner.  >:(

The lovely Chary and I had a great time tripping around there one day!

I think maybe for adults, yes ;D  But the kids LOVED it.  Plus there were trains EVERYWHERE, so Josh was in heaven! So I enjoyed that.

That looks like fun!  I want to go!

Maybe there is is one close to where you live ;D  If you come down to England I'd go again ;D

I KNOW!!!  I didn't realize and we were leaving and I saw a sign for your town :(  I would have rang, but Josh had fallen asleep by then.

Still no sun at all, but relatively dry so Andrew took the girls out and burned the garden rubbish and I dyed a bunch of hankies in pretty, bright colours and use fabric paint and rubber stamps to paint my mom's initials on 6 of them and MIL's initials on the other 6 to give them as a little present for Mother's Day.

Today was sunny and mild, so I cleaned five bags of leaves and rubbish out of the back garden. Not quite done, but it looks SO much better! :)

Hung laundry outside and spent 3 hours working in the garden!   :o  I feel like I've accomplished something, even though the garden doesn't look any bit better than it did before.   :P

On Saturday I washed my car, along with my neighbors washing their 2 cars. It was a cacaphony of car washing in our street.
Good things come to those who wait...a really long time.

My elderly neighbor mowed his lawn!  No, the grass hadn't grown.  I suspect he just wanted an excuse to be outdoors.  ;)
