Ouch, CB! I hope you get results soon and it turns out to be something minor.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt, BD.  :(

CB, I hope it's nothing serious. You can't seem to catch a break lately, from one illness to another...maybe you are working too hard & need to relax a bit more?  :-\\\\

I do need to do this, sadly it's not much of an option at the moment.

Thanks everyone, I'm sure it's nothing, I was just REALLY hoping he'd go "oh mastitis, take these antibiotics and bugger off" no such luck! :(

It's pretty painful on and off so I'd like to get it sorted for no reason other than that! :)

My sister went into the ER on Tuesday night with severe abnominal pain and she could feel a mass- she was admitted in and they've got no idea what it is- just a bizzare lump - She is in agony and they've put her on oxycodone -

She got into a bad car accident years ago and had all kinds of seatbelt trauma and ended up with a staph infection through her body.

The lump is around her seatbelt scar area- so they think it may be scar tissue or bacteria rearing its head or a parasite of some kind - but all the tests are not showing anything and the CT scans/Ultrasounds are showing a mass, but not looking like anything they've ever seen.

She's very allergic to anything 'cillin' or 'mycin'- i.e. tons of antibiotics - so they can't even pump her full antibotics and see if goes away.  So now she's going under abnominal surgery today, because they think its pushing on all kinds of organs.

I hope its nothing really serious when they get in there and not wrapped nastily or anything  :-\\\\    Worried about her!

I hope your sister's surgery goes well, and they find the problem! That must be so scary.

That sounds so scary PB :( Hope everything works out and it's simple to fix/remove. The not knowing part is the worst bit.

Quick update from me - still waiting around.
