I've been having some what we think are nerve issues, areas of heat on my body and for the past 3 days lots of burning sensations in various places. So, I got a referral to a neurologist to try to figure it out. I had a little cry earlier because I'm just worried. I don't want to have MS or anything like that. Can you please pray for me (or whatever you do if you don't pray)? I'm just really sad about the thought of having something debilitating or worse. Or I guess it could be nothing serious I really don't know. That's part of what is stressful. I am waiting for the neurologist to call me back to schedule an appt. I had to leave a message on their appt line.

got a abnormal blood test result showing that i have inflammation somewhere in the body. the test on its own doesn't diagnose anything. waiting on other test results. could be MS, something worse or just a viral infection. However, rationally or not I really feel i'm heading for an MS diagnoses now more than ever. I'm scared :(

Oh Julia, how scary.  Try not to jump to conclusions though.  Wait and see what the doctors have to say.  I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and hoping that you hear more soon.

Hang in there julia, the waiting game is the hardest part. (I feel for you there on the waiting... I just had several blood tests come back abnormal and I'm waiting on my consultant referral letter. Annoying to wait!!)

Fingers crossed for you.
Princesslemons on this board was recently diagnosed with MS, so maybe she'll come along soon or you can PM her.

Sorry you are so worried, Julia. That does sound scary. I hope everything turns out ok.

For me, it's not a horrible thing, and I don't even really know if it's an IA, but today is the tenth anniversary of my father's death, and I'm feeling very reflective.  :-\\\\ It's hard to believe it's been ten years. I'm not really sad or depressed. In a weird way, I think everything worked out for the best. But I miss him and his life was so sad (he was mentally ill) and I just have a lot of feelings about him today.

Hoping Julia gets good news soon.
It was E's birthday last Friday. She would have been 33, which was the age I was when she was born.
