Thanks, guys.  I appreciate the sentiment.  My fingers are crossed that all goes okay.

JennBean, sorry your FIL went through the same thing, but good to know that he's doing great now.

I think things will work out fine, but it's still a bit nerve-wracking.

Thanks everyone for your kindness. DH just back from the Dr's and has some meds to hopefully take away the pain for a bit. His heart is strong & fine, and the Dr thinks it may be gastric inflammation or his gall bladder brought on by stress. The medication should do the trick but if he's not better by Monday he'll have to go into hospital for tests.

Just found out one of my friends was found in the Raritan River yesterday.  Not sure if he drowned or what, but he was only 31.

Thanks guys.  I think I'm more in shock than anything else at the moment.  Part of me is hoping it's a really horrible joke.

WebyJ - here's to having the meds work for your hubby.  At least his heart is strong...that's definitely a good thing.  Good thoughts your way and hoping he doesn't have to go in hospital for tests.

NoseOverTail - OMG...I'm SO sorry to hear that!  My sympathies to you.

Weby - I hope the medication has been working okay for him and he won't be needing additional tests, and very glad to hear that his heart is okay.

kbeaumont - Sorry to hear about your dad.  :(  Hopefully, the consultation will bring at least some good news that it's not as bad as originally thought.  Fingers crossed for you and your family!

NoseOverTail - Sorry to hear about your loss; big hugs from me.  :(  Sending good vibes to you!

Oh Noseovertail, that is so sad. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.  :(

WebyJ, glad your husband is doing better, I hope that continues and everything turns out ok.

kbeaumont sending good thoughts your way. Hope your Dad has some better news when he goes back in August.

I feel so bad even thinking I had anything worse than an IA after reading here.. Hugs to all of you.

OK, this has officially moved to Worse than an IA...

I have an emergency appointment at the breast clinic next Monday (earliest they could get me in) because apparently I have a 3cm x 3cm abcess (sp?) which may need to be drained or otherwise operated on. And I'm on antibiotics for another 2 weeks. The doctor totally panicked about the lump in my breast tissue, which made me feel terrified, then I looked over and saw the notes he was looking at on his PC from my last appointment with the breast clinic where the breast doctor said if I need an operation, I will mostly likely lose full sensation in my nipple, and there may also be some collapsing of the nipple or I might lose the nipple altogether. Now I'm completely freaked out and I have to wait another week to find out what the hell is going to happen to me.  :\\\'(

How scary! Rooting for you and the antibiotics to do their thing Jewlz and do what you need to do to look after you.  [smiley=hug.gif]
