Hello all

I am sure that this question has been asked numerous times.  Where do you get the EC 998 form ?  This is now something that I need to take care of.   I found a website that has it, but they require payment before you can download.  There has got to be somewhere where this form is readily available and free.

Thanks in advance

Thank you.
I just returned from the USDA office to get my EC998 endorsed and paid a whopping $107 for a stamp.  Oy.
I will tell you that  the PETS part is THE most difficult part, so if you can get through that, everything else will seem simple :)

Mirrajay,

After you are well rested, let us know how the trip went for you.  I hope that it was good for you, and your four legged child.

I also called the USDA vet here in Richmond, Va, and I was also quoted about $107.00 for the first animal, and then about $6.00 each for the other two additional animals.  The cost of my other two animals was a very nice surprize for me as I thought that each one would be about $100.00 each.
The pets is the most frustrating process of getting over to the UK.  Our visas were easy compared to the animals.

Best of luck to you !!!

Keep us posted how everything went for you when they released your animal to you in the UK.  I am anxious to hear of personal experiences.

Where do we get the Customs Form and is it declared when going through customs with our suitcases or when we go to pick up our pets. Are we taxed on the value of our pets? Thanks. Me

Once you call the airline and book your pets ticket they will send you the customs form.
BA does for sure. I assume they all do.

I am pretty sure they don't tax you on the value of your pet. I wish I could find my OLD form. ack!
