It's pretty much the same except they don't have biscuits. So no sausage biscuit which is what I always got when I ate breakfast at McDonald's.

ETA - And I don't think they have McGriddles either. I always thought those were yucky anyway. :P

Oh, and they don't have breakfast burritos or chicken biscuits either.

I never could stand McDonaldseses breakfasts, so I couldn't say. But I do still get the Big Mac jones from time to time, and those are EXACTLY the same.

Wish that were true of KFC.

The overly-processed, -salty and -greasy hash browns were ridiculously good after a night of heavy collegiate drinking, as I recall.  Granted, it may have helped that our local McDonald's took checks...

All I remember of McDonald's in the UK, beyond the Big Macs (which were pretty similar to the US), is the horribad breakfast me and the hubby had. We were moving house while I visiting last year, and we were moving boxes from one house to the storage unit, and we were hungry--it was too early for a sit-down breakfast, and his kitchen was completely dismantled. So, we went to McDonalds mostly for a coffee/tea run, but my husband got some bagel egg and bacon combo--I can't remember the name of it to save my life. But what really blew my mind was that there was ranch dressing on it--my husband took a bite, and then asked me to take a bite since he's not really familiar with ranch dressing and wasn't sure what it was. Lo and behold it was ranch, and I just made a weird face and handed it back to him :-X I'm not entirely sure if it was a mistake or what, but we haven't had a breakfast at a UK McDonald's since then so who knows what happened to it.

Ew ew ew! Oh god, Tammy, that HAD to have been a mistake.

I looked on the website, and there's NOTHING with ranch for breakfast.

To the OP: Check this link for breakfast at McD's - http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/food/breakfast/bacon-egg-and-cheese-bagel.mcdj?dnPos=-1490

there's a scrolling list on the bottom that shows all the options. Looks pretty similar to me.  Oh, but no Canadian Bacon on the Egg McMuffins.  Regular bacon.

LOL. That's what I was thinking when I took a bite, someone was half-asleep on the early shift (this was like 6.30am or so) and they did it by mistake. I just remember how amazed I was since I had never had such a flavor combination before, and my husband was too tired to complain so he just finished it off :P

And THAT is why I will never eat breakfast at McD's in the UK!  I must have my egg and cheese biscuit!  Not bagel - biscuit!!

Totally agree. I always get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit when I'm in the States. That's the only breakfast food I eat a McDonald's.

The only time I remember having McDonald's for breakfast is when I was meeting someone early on a Sunday morning at Heathrow. It was the only thing open that early (around 8 am) in my neighborhood.

i was addicted to their hash browns when i was pregnant, which is ironic as i am fundamentally opposed to mcdonald's normally. they're exactly the same as in the states.
