http://www.statravel.com/It's a travel agency that sells "student fares" on most major airlines (and also sells some travel packages and things for like Spring Break). There are branches in the US, UK, and probably a few other countries too.
The fares are pretty good, the only catch is that you have to have one of their discount cards (ISIC for students, IYTC for under 26, and ITIC for teachers), which costs $22. I got one for free through my school when I studied abroad, but bought a new one last year, because it meant I could save about $180 on flights that I was booking pretty late in the game.
They also offer more flexibility than the airlines when it comes to changing your ticket--it's only $50 instead of $200+. I've had to call them before, and everyone I spoke to was
extremely helpful, even regardless of the fact that it was ~2-5 days before Christmas, the BA strike had already started, flights out of london had been grounded a few days prior because of snow, and I wanted my flights back to the US rerouted...
