GUESS WHOSE VISA GOT APPROVED!!!!

I am so happy! All that worry over nothing. And now our family will be together again :). My husband has missed out on a lot of our daughter's life so far...I can't wait to raise her in the country I love.

Here is my timeline for interested parties:

April 18: Applied online, non-priority
May 6: Biometric Appt
May 9: Documents received at consulate, email sent
June 10: Visa approved, notified by email

Total time (in business days) from docs received: 24

I want to thank EVERYONE on this board for their support and help! I would have been totally lost without it. I do plan on staying on, I think it's a wonderful community.

YAYYYYYY!
In 900 years of time and space, I've never met anyone who wasn't important.

Hey everyone! Just thought i'd share my timeline/situation so far.

My husband and I have been married since May 28 2011, but i had to return home June 1 2011 due to my visitor visa expiring  >:(. We have a very straight forward case (in my opinion ;D) no overstays, no criminal records, no refusals etc.

Applied Online: June 1st
Biometrics Taken in Seattle: June 6th
Documents Overnighted w/ Priority Service: June 6th
USPS tracking states package delivered: June 7th 11AM
Email stating Documents Received/Opened in New York: June 8th

and we continue to wait! The processing times website states 48 hours for settlement priority applications, we're now into 71 & 1/2 (;D) hours into our application after it was recieved and we're both VERY antsy! He's still in the UK and I'm very anxious to get back to my husband! Anyone else waiting recently w/ settlement priority service?

It's 15 days for settlement priority, it's 2 days for the other one.  Mine got there the same day as yours (from Washington also) and I just received the visa today (after getting the email saying I had it on Friday.

I guess I got lucky, good luck!!

Hang in there Scotland! I got my exceptional case email last Wednesday but I'm hoping that even though our case has been identified as exceptional, it'll still be quite straightforward. As I've said on here before, the only reason we've been refused before was because we tried to apply for the wrong visa while I was on a visitor's visa...super annoying.  We were given a certificate of approval before that scheme was over so i'm hoping that helps us...mostly i just want to go home!!! xx
