Here's one for the beer obsessives out there.  On Saturday night we went to a stand up comedy show at our local brewery.  I took this picture :

You can just make out MT on the far tank, which I'm guessing is Mash Tun.  What about the others?  Why "Copper"?

Maybe it's copper-lined?  Or maybe it's just to indicate that this is where the boiling happens.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewing#Brew_kettle_or_copper
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Thanks JFKimberley, that solved that mystery.  I'm sure unclear about the tiny tank with UB or something on it.   And I got to read about Splarging again.

There was only one guy around who knew anything about the beer making, and I kept asking him for more beer.

My OH has such a tough life.

Today he is off to Manchester to meet...erm... I dunno.  Some guy from the German prog band Can.  After that, he and his pal are off to Huddersfield for a few days.  One of the best towns in the UK for beer.  And he will  undoubtedly be texting me pics of all the pump clips, just to make me jealous.

I was gutted as I have the stag do this weekend in Edinburgh and keep seeing adverts for Edinburgh craft beer festival but it's not until the end-part of this month! I kept seeing pictures of loads of beautiful glasses filled with beautiful and tasty looking beers hah Extra pain because it's the Reading Beer Festival this weekend and I can't go to it this year because of this stag do! (and the people we go with typically are on this stag do lol)

I want his life.  I've never been to multi day beer festival, I'd probably be embarrassed to have that much.  I did hang out with a dude in a old prog band  Durrati Column or something like that.

Can you take my kid with you and swing by the zoo to see the pandas?   ;D

The hits from this stag do keep on going.  No Edinburgh beer fest, no Reading beer fest, no Cinco de Mayo.   ::)  Are you sure you like this guy?  Is he worth it?   ;)

And you keep reminding me about missing Cinco De Mayo! I'm not a crier but you might break me, lady! hahah

I'm honestly not ever sure anymore how much I am liking him right now.....My new goal is to try a fried mars bar somewhere before leaving Scotland...

hehehe I've already had a google search on this. the only redeeming quality is that it's in Edinburgh which I love so I can't be too cranky about it!
