Any more interrogation questions?  ;)

I'm not interrogating, just asking a legitimate question! Jewlz provided this BBC link and suggested that we follow their themes. According to that site, the theme for 2 November is Halloween, then 9 November is Bonfire Night, 16 November is Three Colours and 23 November is Corners. I just want to get some ideas percolating in my head ready for future weeks!  :)

Heh heh, I was joking.... Chillax :)

Well hopefully the switch up will inspire some spontaneity then! :)

This is a not-very-good photo of the decorations at the Halloween Supper I went to on Saturday night. It was at the private library I belong to (like a club that's also a library). The building is gorgeous and was a house up until about 150 years ago when the family sold it and the library took up residence. Everyone dressed up to the nines and we had canapes, liberal quantities of mulled wine, venison stew, wild mushroom cassoulet, homemade walnut bread, caramelised pears with clotted cream, ginger biscuits and chilli truffles. All of it was homemade and all of it was fabulous. After the meal, we were entertained by some women who told VERY SCARY ghost stories.

Halloween is not just for children!

These spider decorations were draped along the mantel in the Reading Room, which is where we had our meal:

And this is just a silly throwaway photo of some spooky sweets I bought at Tesco:

Chary, I drool everytime I read that menu. Yum!

Loving all the pics, too, folks. I'll have to post mine later today as I don't think I can do it from work.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Sorry I'm late!  :)

I hope I did this right. The first one is my stepson all ready for a Halloween party, the second one is one that he actually took of the jack o'lanterns, which I really like, even though I can't take credit for it.  :P

I actually had the perfect thing to shoot for "Gap," but never got around to photographing it. Is that the theme this week, or is it Bonfire Night or what?!

ETA: I forgot I was supposed to put the code into this space... hmmm. Well, you can still click on and see them, I think, so let me know if you need me to try again.  :)

Thanks for the "how to" instructions on how to post pics! :)  I used imageshack, since you don't have to sign up for anything. hopefully it won't cause any problems...

Anyway, not a great picture, but it is indeed "Halloween-themed".  I took it at the Nottingham Castle a few days before the 31st.

I know I am late in the game, but here is my Halloween (though really more Fall) image.

PickledSakura : I love the Robin Hood hat! I want to make one out of newspaper now.
Jewlz: The Jack-o-lantern candle image is a great perspective.
chary: Those Dead-Heads look gross/hilarious and I am jealous of your Halloween supper- sounds fantastic!
