I'll call this my dream list because I know it is not going to happen! At least not anytime soon.  :-\\\\

Electronics:

Kindle
ipod
iPhone
ipad

money for shopping:
I need...

shoes
tops
and accessories

Kitchen items:
stand mixer
food processor

OR I would happily trade all that in if somebody would just do my ILR applications for me and pay for it!  ;D

Hehehe- I absolutely love to give pressies - which makes the holiday season quite fun for me- but not for my wallet- but anyways- it is nice to have a wish list as well  :)

I wish I could say I don't want gifts and that I'm not materalistic, but really, I like pressies as much as the next person and there are definitley a few things I want- so my wish list (I did say it was wishes!!) includes the following:

Some trombone accessories- A new trombone stand as mine is falling to bits, a bucket mute, a harmon mute, and a repair to one of the stuck tuning slides. Though in my complete dream- I won the lottery kind of world, I'd buy myself a customer shilke or custom xeno horn. Ha!

An acoustic bass guitar

A harp - I've always fancied one ever since my sister got one some years ago!

Some new smart work clothes - mine are getting quite ragged and I have to look smart meeting vendors

Some really geeky books- Chris Rauwendaal's Troubleshooting the Extrusion Process,  D.V. Rosato's Injection Molding Handbook, Tobin's Quality Control for Plastics, Jenkins Durability and Reliability of Medical Polymers, Sastri's Plastics in Medical Devices: Properties, Requirements and Applications [smiley=smart.gif]

A bread machine

A stationary spinning bike

Some cookbooks- Nigel Slater's Simple Suppers, The Fat Duck Cookbook, Ching-He Huang's Chinese Food Made Easy

Anything Black Yak!  I <3 wool!

Fair Trade jewelry - funky and colourful is great with me!

Funky things to tie in my hair

A heated clothes airer

I'm not asking for much, am I?  :P

I absolutely love giving xmas gifts! Although I go WAY overboard. I also love receiving thoughtful gifts, I'm not too worried about the cost, some of my best gifts have been very cheap, but I wont lie, love electricals and gadgets!

I have the world's longest amazon wish list, I use it throughout the year to keep track of just stuff that i like and want to get but also (even though the boy and I hate it) his step-mother really likes wish lists, if you don't have one she sits you down with a catalogue which is SO awkward!

So I have lots of silly things, some lomo photography stuff, some DSLR stuff, shoes, socks, blu-rays, cake decorating things, roller boots (god I want roller boots), make up, an apron, books...

I love giving presents too! And I always go overboard, but it's so much fun that I can't help it! In fact, I'm nearly finished all my shopping this year - except for my father and DH who are both nearly impossible to shop for.  :-\\\\

My wish list isn't really extensive at all this year. I always want books. Books, books, books and more books. I'd like some very nice soaps. A Boden cardigan. A knitting book. And that's about it.

Oh I'm the same way about giving gifts.  I really like to try and get people something that they'll love. Though it's been a skint couple of years so I've been having to get creative!  :)

For me, I just don't really know!  I'm usually quite happy to just get practical stuff like socks, plain t-shirts and a packet of cherry Twizzler Pull and Peels.  :)  But I guess there's a few other things I could always use...  :)

I really want a good spice rack, a ginormous stock pot, ramekins that are big enough to make individual pot pies, and an apron.

I also want a nice big wooly sweater.

Otherwise I can only really think of potential reading material like some artsy or history books as well as some fiction.  I'm lost on what sort of fiction I want to read (there's so much out there!) but I've been keen on reading more about Scottish/Northern British/Union history.  I'd really like a cookie cookbook too!

In terms of dream items, I'd like a winning Euromillions ticket, a gas hob, and a big eff-off American fridge/freezer.  ;D

My family doesn't use a catalogue (that WOULD be awkward) but I love their wish lists!  I want to know what they want for Christmas, I want to get them something they're hoping for.  That doesn't mean I don't put a lot of thought into it.  I've been known to buy a present, take it home and wrap it, put it under the tree and, after more thought, unwrap it, return it to the store and buy something else.   ::)

My wish list this year...
a winning lottery ticket of course   ;)
some warm dressy boots
a simple cardigan that goes with everything
a few books & movies I've been wanting

that's about it for me.  We'll be moving soon and it will all have to be packed.

I really want an ipad but can't justify buying one, so I'm stealth saving up for one by trading in all my unwanted, old or un-played games at HMV and then putting the credit on gift cards, I have about £300 so far, I'm so close!

Me too. But it's so fun, isn't it?

Great wish list- I may have to steal some stuff of it for mine  ;)

yay! Even if I get a couple of things on that list I'd be totally ecstatic :D

It's so much fun and I love surprising people and making them happy on xmas day :) Especially my boy's niece as she always gets a bit forgotten.
