Haha, DH makes jokes about this every time. ;D They're truly delicious though. I dunno how I found them! Just a happy fluke. :)

Me too! I loved them in chowder, but I could just eat them out of the bag as a snack!

Same here!  MrRed5 has a work colleague that is over in Chicago, and I asked him to please bring me back a bag.
You would think that with the wide variety of savoury biscuits over here they would have something similar....

Oh no! I just looked online and they aren't listed.  :\\\'( Maybe Morrisons carries the thin wheat crackers at some of the larger stores? Is there a big Morrisons near you?

Yes, and they're about to open a huge one around the corner. What are they called? Just Thin Wheat?

I think the box just said Thin Wheat Crackers. It was a Morrisons brand. You could tell from the photo on the box - they looked just like Wheat Thins.  :)

Mrs. R. gave me a box of those Italian "Saltines" today and  hubby had them with his soup for dinner--all crumbled up and sprinkled on top, properly American-style!

Some elves  [smiley=elf.gif] [smiley=angel.gif] dropped me soup and these saltines yesterday and they tasted just like saltines to me!  So delicious on top of hot soup.  Nom, nom nom.  I feel better already.  :)
