Roast chicken with sausage, sage and onion stuffing
twice baked potatoes
green bean casserole
cheesy cauliflower bake
carrots and parsnips
corn

My family always had a Christmas Eve meal and that was more important than our Christmas meal.  So dh and I have combined our traditions and end up with two huge meals over Christmas.   :P  Too much food!

Roast goose with roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli.  Never had goose before so I'm excited!  Having tiramisu for dessert which I am soooo looking forward to!

We've (and by we, I mean I since I do the cooking) have declared it leftover day.  I'm sure we'll have about a thousand.  How well do chicken and turkey mix for a pie or in a sandwich??  :D

Steak au poivre, salad, home made oven fries and probably a few bits of chocolate, a cookie or two, and maybe some eggnog!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Last night was the feast of 7 fish, and I ate all 7 for the first time! We made:
Shrimp 3 ways (scampi, breaded, and cocktail)
Crab Cakes
Fried Scallops
Smelts
White fish of some kind
Stuffed Calimari
Mussels

Plus broccoli salad and pasta with marinara. I love Christmas Eve!

Tonight I'm making curry. Not very Christmas dinner-y, I suppose, but it's just me, so that's what I feel like having. :)

We are having a Christmas take-away.  It was so difficult finding somewhere that was actually open,  but we did.  Bring on my Christmas kebab!

Christmas dinner was amazing. We had ham, stuffed shells, meatballs, italian sausage, PW's cheesy herb potatoes, sweet potatoes, plus leftovers from Christmas Eve. We will be eating leftovers until we fly back to England I'm sure!

A big turkey, stuffing, brussels sprouts, roasted parsnips, roasted carrots, roasted potatoes, bread sauce and a lush dark & white chocolate bread pudding with Irish cream sauce. And booze. Lots of booze.  ;D

Leftover prime rib and roast veggies, plus all the Christmas candy we can munch I think.  Happy Boxing Day!

Thanks, CB. :)  I could've gone to visit family, too, but with the tube not running, and still getting over this stupid flu, I was quite happy to stay home and relax.
