Does that McDonald's ad for the Tennessee stack kind of annoy anyone else?  You know, the ones where the more they talk about it the more super 'American' things they wear?

Like it's sooooo stupid to be annoyed but it's on a lot.  :P

Oh, I hate those commercials! And some of them just don't make sense! Like the one for the Carolina Stack where they get turned into a cowboy and Dolly Parton. They could have at least gone a bit Gone with the Wind and thrown in a hoop skirt if they were going for the Carolinas.

I saw my first one last night and thought it was kind of funny.  It was the one where they ended up on motorcycles, one carrying a bald eagle.

Has anyone eaten one of the burgers?  No doubt they are grosss.

I haven't, but I don't really go to McDonalds.  They are definitely gross, lol!

Same. I got food poisoning when I was a kid so I don't really touch the stuff (I'm not massively big on fast food in general, but I usually stick with KFC or taco bell when in the US unless absolutely necessary).

Wendy's all the way for me in the states.  Spicy chicken sandwich, and a chocolate frosty to dip the fries in.

I actually can't think of any fast food beef burger I like.  Wetherspoon's might be the closest but that's alright.  There's a place near me that does this really good McDonald's knockoff (like the toppings are pickles, chopped onions, cheese, and their take on the sauce sauce) but it's not fast food at all and the burgers themselves are really high quality.  So I'd rather spend a few more pounds on like a restaurant burger like that.

Probably the only "fast food" burger I actively enjoy and would choose to have is 5 Guys :) But that's probably because I too go for the chicken burgers a lot of the time. I love the KFC Flamin' wraps.

Where I grew up, Wendy's & McDonald's were right next door to each other.  So it was Wendy's all the way for me!

Here, I find Burger King are the lesser of the fast-food burger evils.  They're better than McD, but still not great.

I haven't seen any of the commercials, but I admit I've had the California Ranch whatever sandwich that is part of their "American" promo right now and I really like it. It's basically two chicken fingers with "bacon" and lettuce (like romaine, not iceburg) and tomato and ranch, but on a nice wheat bun. I take the lettuce and bacon off, but I really like it. I'll be sad to see it go. I have 3 kids who are addicted to the happy meal toys and it's one of the few places where they'll eat the chicken, so we do go about once a week.

I just saw that one for the first time, it is pretty funny!  :D

The other one in the cell phone store or whatever, with Dolly, not so much!  :P

Yeah, the cell phone store is the one that drives me nuts.  I don't find the other one hilarious but the cell phone store I seriously have to walk away from when it comes on.

The ones that really get to me are the diet coke "impulsive moments" ads. The girl in the park sticks the guy's ball up her sweater, the window dressers go "boo"....

They are criminally lame and I can't stand them in a really, visceral, where is the remote, I can't watch this for one more second, panic-y kind of a way!     [smiley=sick.gif]

Those are terrible! For being a good advertiser usually Coke really dropped the ball. Haha.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Really? I like it simply because it's a bit wacky and it's definitely catering to my generation. haha. My brother loved He-Man.
