Unexpected snow! I don't want school to start late tomorrow!

I don't want to deal with snow on my visit! Boo.

I've spent ALL DAY working on assembling our US Visa Application packet for the interview on Tuesday. I have a monster headache from not eating anything and way too much caffeine...now all I want is a mound of Chinese food and for this stinking Visa stuff to be OVER WITH  >:(

Are you reading my mind?  lol
 ;)

My best friend found out this morning that she's been a victim of identity theft. :( She's not sure the extent of it yet  as she's waiting on her credit report. But seriously, she doesn't deserve all this added stress for something that was completely not her fault, poor girl!

My aunt lives in a very nice condo but the other day the skylight over her little bay off the living room collapsed from the snow/ice! Thank goodness she was upstairs at the time and the management have sent people in to clean it all up and make the hole secure. She is upset that her amaryllis with four blossoms bit the dust.  :(

Getting a good night's sleep and still being tired.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Blinkin' pot holes! DS got a flat on the car the other night -- managed to change it even in the freezing temp. Told him to just take it to the dealer for a new tire (he tends to want to look for deals online) but they say the rim is mangled and will try to get it fixed. Failing that we have to buy a new wheel  :( We'll be limping along on the "doughnut" for a while.

Taxes...I can barely understand form 2555

5 years of filling that thing out, and I'm still like, what????

To go along with the sleep thing, taking sleeping tablets to get more than about 5 hours at the minute, and waking up feeling groggy and still unable to function.

I was assured on Monday that I would get paid on Tuesday. It's now Friday and I still don't see anything in my bank account. :( I don't know if my bank is being slow or my job is, but it's a little annoying. I don't *need* the money until I get back from my trip to the US, but once I'm back, I really do need the money.

Why do people have palm trees in Britain?  Gale force winds last week means that my neighbour's palm tree leaves (are they leaves???) are all over my back garden!  Grrrrrr... I hate gardening.

Grief from my little brother. He's apparently really not a fan of the idea that his parents are my parents and he has to "share" them with more than just our little(r) brother. I was here barely a day before he decided I should go home and I'd been here long enough.

He's only 5, so I'm not "annoyed", it's just a little frustrating to be treated with suspicion and disdain. ;) He's also insanely loud, which makes getting things done (including sleeping) a challenge.

On the plus side, the to-be-3yo is so chill it's crazy. Super laid-back kiddo.

BF stayed out late with his work mates and drank too much. So he's spent all of today vomiting and grumbling about how he's dying... the best bit is that his mum is coming here tonight to stay for a few days so guess who's been stuck with all the shopping and cleaning? So much for enjoying the sunshine and warmer temps. >:(
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut
