Hershey's Kisses Come to Britain

Looks like there's some doubt as to how good a thing that is!  ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I've never seen a British person try them without grimacing.

bleugh....I maintain that Hershey's chocolate smells of vomit, waxy vomit.

Now Reese's peanut butter cup miniatures I could get on board for!

They may taste differant over here if they are made for the european market.. I mean M n Ms .. oreos are two things i can think of off the top of my head that  taste differant here cos they are made for the european market taste.
So will be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah. I wonder where they will make them. Not like cadbury tastes the same over here so likely the Kisses will be different there. Speaking of Oreos, my mother brought some home from South Africa and they were vile.

Yep, there's so much really good chocolate out there that I wouldn't waste my time/money/calories on Hershey's.

Yep - I'm pretty sure I made a face when I first tried it. I find that they aren't too bad when you first take a bite, but there's a definite 'vomity' aftertaste!

I went into the Hershey's store in Times Square when I was in NYC in February and I actually had to hold my nose because of the icky smell in there :P!

I LOVE Kisses!  I like the taste and I also love the fact that they are tiny and individually wrapped so it's a great way to kill your sweet tooth without spending up too many calories.

I also love the fact that DH hates them so it is the ONE thing I can have in the house that he won't eat all of it when I go to bed.   ::)

My mom and dad send us a bag a few times a year (the regular ones...along with some other chocolate that seems hard to get here).

Aldi was selling Kisses and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups during July 4th (they had an "American section).

I'm a Hershey's loving girl and proud of it!   :)   Cadbury is fine, smooth and creamy, but Hershey's is what I grew up on and it's what I miss.  And if you think it tastes like waxy vomit then.....   ???
