Waffle Irons

I'm debating whether or not to go buy a waffle iron.  I think it's a case of missing IHOP more than anything -- and that will pass.

Does anyone else have one?  Should I? (dare me?

Do it.  I've got the one from Lakeland-it makes heartshaped waffles and I love it.  It's pretty small, but works well.  And all you need is a box of bisquik, some maple syrup and you're off.     Go on go on go on.

yeah but where are you going to get the Bisquick?

Sainsburys, Tesco and Asda all carry it-it'll be with the scone/pancake mixes near the flour and cake mix.  Look near the flour first, then look near the cake mix.

Well, I also absolutely lived by the recipes in my Bisquick cookbook for the first 6 months I was here.  Made tonnes of stuff from it - including beer/cheese soup and banana bread.
