Christopher, he who does not believe in letting me even know how many gifts or what size boxes they might come in, surprised me with a gift this morning: a little box, about 4" square, tied up with ribbon. Inside was a stack of cards (also tied with ribbon) and a sheet with instructions. Each card would have a letter, symbol or picture on it. The letters would have clues as to the order in which they should be arranged (either word one or five, either the second or fourth character) and it was up to me to work out where. Punctuation was to be used where and as I saw fit (the pictures where extra). Despite the help of the kittens I eventually solved the puzzle:

the pictures arent showing up but i can only assume that he proposed?  congrats!

Aw!! That is really sweet! Did you guess putting it together half way through or was it a complete surprise until the end? :D Congrats!!

I knew when he gave me the box ;) But the way the game was laid out each letter could only go in one spot so I couldn't just put any R in any spot.
